Welcome to Manna. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Manna application and services operated by Manna ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.
Service Description
Manna is an AI-powered daily Bible devotional service. We provide AI-generated scripture context, reflections, questions, and prayers ("Daily Bread"), as well as an AI chat companion ("Grace"). Our content is generated using artificial intelligence and is intended to supplement — not replace — personal Bible study, pastoral counsel, or theological guidance.
Description of Service
Manna is an AI-powered Bible devotional service that provides:
Daily Bread: Daily Scripture readings with AI-generated context, reflections, questions, and prayers.
AI Chat: Conversational Bible study powered by artificial intelligence.
Audio Devotionals: Text-to-speech audio versions of daily devotional content.
History & Streaks: Tracking of your devotional reading history and daily engagement.
The Service is designed to supplement, not replace, personal Bible study, pastoral guidance, or professional spiritual counsel.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by authenticating through a supported third-party provider (e.g., Google).
4.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may not share your account credentials with others, except as permitted under the Duo plan (Section 5.3).
4.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Subscription Plans and Payment
5.1 Free Trial
New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial with access to all Service features. The free trial begins upon completing the onboarding process. No payment information is required to start the free trial.
At the end of the free trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your access to premium features will be restricted.
5.2 Personal Plan
Monthly: $6.99 per month
Yearly: $62.99 per year (equivalent to 3 months free)
Single-user access to all Service features.
5.3 Duo Plan
Monthly: $10.99 per month
Yearly: $98.99 per year (equivalent to 3 months free)
Access for two (2) users: the account holder and one invited partner.
The account holder may invite one partner via email. The partner must create their own account to access the Service.
The account holder is solely responsible for payment. Removing or changing a partner does not affect billing.
5.4 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. We do not directly store your credit card or payment details.
5.5 Billing Cycle
Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month.
Yearly subscriptions are billed on the same date each year.
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
5.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we change pricing, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. Price changes will apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:
You will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
Your subscription will not renew at the end of the billing period.
No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within the current billing period.
6.2 Refund Policy
Monthly Plans: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the most recent charge. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
Yearly Plans: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase or most recent annual renewal. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
Free Trial: No charges are incurred during the free trial; no refund is applicable.
To request a refund, please contact us at the email address in Section 16.
6.3 Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion:
Your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Any active subscription will be cancelled, and no refund will be issued for the remaining billing period.
Your conversation history, devotional history, and streak data will be permanently deleted.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Service without our prior written consent.
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
Use the AI chat feature to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or contrary to the intended devotional purpose of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Content
The Service, including its design, features, code, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated devotional content, is owned by or licensed to Manna and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 AI-Generated Content
Daily Bread devotionals, AI chat responses, and audio content are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and faithfulness to Scripture:
AI-generated content is provided for devotional and educational purposes only.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional theological, pastoral, or spiritual advice.
Scripture quotations are sourced from publicly available Bible translations as selected by the user.
8.3 Your Content
You retain ownership of any original content you submit through the Service (e.g., chat messages). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8.4 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation.
AI Disclaimers
9.1 Not a Substitute for Professional Guidance
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate devotional content and provide conversational Bible study. AI-generated content is not a substitute for personal Bible study, pastoral counseling, theological education, or professional advice of any kind.
9.2 Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or interpretations that do not align with all theological traditions. We encourage users to verify content against Scripture and consult trusted spiritual advisors.
9.3 No Endorsement
The inclusion of any theological interpretation in AI-generated content does not constitute an endorsement of any particular denomination, doctrine, or theological position.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
ANY DEFECTS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.
THE SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MANNA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE.
UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA.
ANY THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT ON THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Manna and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
Your access to or use of the Service.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any third-party rights.
Any content you submit through the Service.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including but not limited to Supabase, OpenAI, Lemon Squeezy, and Google. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion through your settings or by contacting us.
14.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including but not limited to:
Violation of these Terms.
Non-payment of subscription fees.
Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 15 will survive any termination.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
