How are two people connected?
The shortest path uses only relationships explicitly documented in this release. A path can mix family and ministry links.
Small enough to review, rich enough to follow
The first edition prioritizes people who connect major movements of the biblical story: patriarchal families, exodus leadership, monarchy and prophets, the Gospel narratives, and Paul’s missionary network. Each relationship carries one or more passage references.
Shared names receive descriptive slugs. Joseph son of Jacob is separate from Joseph, Mary’s husband; Mary Magdalene is never silently merged with other women named Mary. Later traditions may be discussed in profile notes, but they do not enter the relationship graph as if stated by the biblical text.
Why some paths are missing
An absent connection means only that this curated release does not yet document a path. It is not evidence that no textual, historical or traditional relationship exists. Manna prefers a smaller reviewed graph to an impressive network filled with machine-inferred edges.
